Pluto Earrings
Beyond the clearing, temperatures dropped sharply. A shard of icy crystal cracked open to reveal two pale orbs nestled inside, watching us like distant moons. Their gaze felt protective, ancient. We fashioned them into clip-ons. Pluto’s guardians, icy but benevolent, shielding us from whatever lay ahead.
