Martian Earrings

Not all signals came from Jupiter itself. On our seventh day, a faint lunar frequency pulsed through the dust. We followed it to two gleaming columns suspended in midair, strung with pearls that trembled as though reacting to our breath. They weren’t from this planet—nor any we recognized. We collected them carefully, reminders that even on Mokusei, echoes of other worlds still drift in.
